Film Faced and Form Ply

Formply is a structural plywood coated on both faces with a phenolic film, making it suitable to use for concrete form work. The film face is water proof so the timber face of the plywood is unaffected by the wet cement. Concrete form work requires the plywood to be rated under Australian standard AS 6669 for building site compliance.

Film faced plywood is much the same as the Formply, however it does not carry the Australian standard for concrete form work. Film faced plywood is suitable wherever a waterproof plywood face is required, and is also used in joinery and furniture applications for an industrial look.
